Heather Allred
PA-C
Heather Allred is a board-certified Physician Assistant with over 13 years of experience specific to dermatology. She has practiced as a Physician Assistant for over 17 years working in direct patient care. She earned her undergraduate degree in Pre-Physical therapy with minors in Chemistry and Biology at USU. She there completed a master’s degree in Cardiac Rehabilitation and then attended the University of Utah to receive her second master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies.
Heather has extensive experience diagnosing and treating skin conditions from rashes to skin cancer and most of all she enjoys educating patients about skin. She teaches that the skin, as the largest organ of the body, plays a significant part in total health.
Heather spent most of her childhood living in Guatemala, but she came to Cache Valley during most summers. When she had completed her time at USU she traveled to Uruguay where she lived and served as a missionary for her church. In contrast to her frequent travels, Heather has for the past 14 years settled in and for now, calls Cache Valley her home.
In addition to helping her patients, Heather loves to spend time with her husband and three children outdoors. They enjoy canyoneering, hiking, camping, and skiing. Her sense of adventure is stirred by competing triathlons and she plans to one day conquer a full Ironman.

Phillip Stevenson
PA-C
Phillip Stevenson is a board-certified Physician Assistant. At eleven years old his interest in medicine was piqued when a bike accident led to a left arm cast. While his early youth was spent in Murray, UT, he ended up in Cache Valley graduating from Sky View High School, with Dr. Maughan. At this time, his heart’s desire was to serve a mission for his church and then go into the medical field. The first was accomplished as he served in Argentina, Bahia Blanca, speaking Spanish. The second began at Utah State University where he graduated not only with a degree in Exercise Science, but also with a wife and baby boy. Medical training occurred at Midwestern University in Glendale, AZ. This training included the guided delivery of his baby girl. A year later, in 2008, he graduated with a Master of Medical Science with an emphasis in education. During school he was on the American Association of Physician Assistants Student House of Delegates. At graduation he was honored, by his class, in receiving the Distinguished Service Leadership Award.
Fresh from graduate school Phillip moved his family of 4, to rural Idaho, to practice Family Medicine. There he practiced a large variety of medical skills which included identifying and treating skin issues. After 5 years of family practice, another child and one on the way, Phil’s focus changed to orthopedics. For 11 years he guided an orthopedic spine surgeon in Twin Falls, ID. He assisted in intricate surgeries and was responsible for thousands of incision closures. When Dr. Maughan inquired if Phillip would help expand his practice, to reach more of Cache Valleys residents, he was thrilled. The desire to move his family, now of 7, to the beautiful valley he had enjoyed as a teen, to be next to extended family, and to serve the residents of Cache Valley was undeniable. Working in dermatology has been a desire for Phillip and he feels blessed to work with Dr. Maughan.
When not working, Phil soaks up every minute he gets with his children, especially since his children say he is way cooler than his wife. His kids are constantly on the watch for when dad gets home so they can share time together. He sincerely missed the fly fishing, hiking and camping in northern Utah, that occupied his time as a teen, and desires to show his children the best fishing spots. Phil can always be found studying a variety of subjects to gain knowledge to serve any who crosses his path.

Her family includes her husband and two sweet children - a little boy, and a little girl. She enjoys any activity she and her family can participate in together. “The main reason I decided to become an Aesthetician was because of my own skin, I have struggled with acne since I was 15 years old and now turning 28 I am seeing early signs of aging like pigmentation and fine lines. Helping others with problems I have struggled with makes it all worth it. I love giving my patients the confidence they deserve. We are all beautiful and enhancing that beauty is what I strive to do as an Aesthetician.”
Whitney provides skin consultations for every skincare service from product regimens, to chemical peels, to laser hair removal. She has the expertise coupled with compassion to help you confidently overcome your skin concerns.
